Fully Managed Peace Of Mind: Developed By A Banker, For Fellow Bankers

This story began in 2007, when the financial services industry was just beginning to tap into the potential of social media. Back then, the primary challenge was crafting engaging content to capture the attention of growing audiences. Our founder, a banker herself, was part of this early journey, creating strategies to help her bank engage with audiences and build trust online.
As social media use grew, so did the risks. Banks faced unique challenges in managing their online presence responsibly, especially as new regulations emerged. It became clear that banks would need a dedicated, secure way to handle social media without putting themselves or their customers at risk.
THE EVOLUTION OF COMPLIANCE
“Understanding the critical need for compliance, we embarked on a mission to create a comprehensive solution.”
A New Challenge for Banks
In 2013, the FFIEC released new guidance for banks using social media, setting high standards for compliance and risk management. This was an essential step to protect banks and their customers, but the requirements were complex and time-consuming. For Jill, managing social media at her bank, it quickly became clear that monitoring compliance was almost impossible without new tools and technology.
The Need for a Better Solution
With no easy way to monitor and manage these compliance demands, bankers everywhere faced an overwhelming challenge. Understanding the critical need, we set out to develop a solution tailored for banks—a tool that would simplify compliance and bring peace of mind. The result? BANK MONITOR – a service that’s built by a banker, for fellow bankers to streamline social media compliance.
Introducing BANK MONITOR
This vision led to the creation of BANK MONITOR: a fully managed service that tackles every aspect of social media compliance for banks. Built with a banker’s perspective, BANK MONITOR empowers financial institutions to connect confidently on social media, while we handle the compliance.
With over 40 years of combined financial services experience, Jill and Monte bring dedication and expertise to helping financial institutions confidently navigate social media compliance.

Founder | Compliance Specialist
I spent over two decades as a senior-level banker, working in human resources, retail, and marketing. As a community banker, I understood the struggle to balance the time demands of social media while ensuring adherence to the laws, regulations, and policies governing this type of marketing.
During this time, I recognized the critical need for a comprehensive solution to ensure compliance with the FFIEC Social Media Guidance established in 2013. This realization, coupled with a lack of existing industry solutions, inspired me to develop BANK MONITOR. This program is an all-encompassing answer to the FFIEC Social Media Compliance Risk Management Guidance requirements.
The success of BANK MONITOR in safeguarding my own community bank fueled a passion to extend this innovative solution to community banks and credit unions nationwide. My mission is to provide a white-glove service that simplifies and secures social media compliance.

Chief Executive Officer
Having over 22 years of experience in the finance industry, primarily working with banking and investment-related service organizations, I am acutely aware of the stringent regulations governing banks and credit unions. I'm also a passionate problem solver by nature, and after learning the challenges Jill was facing in her previous banking role with the new FFIEC Social Media Management requirements, we began brainstorming on a solution. We were surprised to find that there were no products or services that covered the guidance from beginning to end, and the few that came close required the financial institutions to manage the platform themselves along with a hefty price tag. So, we decided to build our own platform to specifically cover all aspects of the FFIEC's guidance, and completely manage it in real time as well to allow banks to focus on what they do best...banking.
